If you think you have a bad memory, you need to meet a squirrel. Did you know that a squirrel forgets where they hide roughly half of their nuts? That means all their hard work is in vain since they'll never find those nuts. The good news is for Mother Nature since a percent of those nuts will turn into trees. So, the squirrel's ancestor will one day benefit from the squirrel's forgetfulness, and they'll eat nuts from a tree produced by luck.
