Interestingly, human bodies contain about 65 percent oxygen by mass, while in stars oxygen is less than one percent of all elements. However, the six most common elements of life on Earth (including those that make up more than 97 percent of a person's body weight) are abundant in the center of our Galaxy, and the closer to its center, the more you can find them there. All elements were born in the process of nuclear fusion in the stars billions of years ago — before the formation of the sun and solar system. So yes, you are made of stars. And the whole world around you was also created from them — all people, animals, objects, mountains, seas and air.
