Have you ever looked at cats of the same breed and wondered why one had a longer tail than the other? If so, you might be surprised to learn that the cats were probably male and female. Yes, male cats do have longer tails than female cats. Why is that? No one knows why female cats have shorter tails. Though, on average, a female cat does have a slightly shorter tail. The difference is tail length seems to mostly go unnoticed unless you have too much time on your hands and spend it looking at the backside of cats
