What do a sheep, a duck, and a rooster all have in common? Did you guess they were the first passengers in a hot air balloon? If that’s what you guessed, you’d be right. It’s hard to imagine a stranger combination of animals to ride on a hot hair balloon. Maybe all the monkeys and ostriches were taking the day off. All three of those animals had bragging rights to say they were the first creatures to fly in a hot air balloon. It has to make you wonder if they all looked down and wondered how small everything looked from up there?
